Italian Baguette
Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- 1/3 lb cream cheese or goat cheese , room temperature
- ½ C kalamata or niciose olives , chopped
- ¾ C sun-dried tomatoes , rehydrated in hot water and finely chopped
- 4 T capers
- 2 t italian seasoning
- parsley chopped
Instructions
- Slice baguette. Place slices flat on a sheet pan (cookie sheet) and bake at 350°F for about 5 minutes (until crisp).
- Combine the rest of the ingredients except the parsley. Spread a tablespoon or so of the cream cheese mixture on the baguette slices and put back into the oven to warm the cheese. Place on serving tray and sprinkle with parsley.
