Granola, 1971
Ingredients
- 6 C rolled oats
- 2 C wheat germ
- 1 C coconut
- 2 C sesame seeds
- 1 C safflower oil
- 1 C honey
- 1 C raw peanuts
- 1 C raisins
- 2 T sea salt
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients except raisins until the grain is moistened. Spread in shallow baking dish or jelly roll pan and toast at 350°F. Stir every 10 minutes to brown evenly. Add raisins while the granola is cooling.
- May add dates before tossing. May substitute almonds for peanuts. May add vanilla too.
