Pumpkin Chai Smoothie

If you want the smoothie to be thicker and more like a shake, use more frozen banana than directed.

Ingredients

  • 1 C vanilla coconut milk (or other milk of choice)
  • 1 C canned pumpkin (or cooked pumpkin puree)
  • 1 large banana , frozen in chunks
  • 1 t ground cinnamon (more or less to taste)
  • ¼ t ground cardamom (more or less to taste)
  • ½ t ground nutmeg (more or less to taste)
  • ¼ t ground coriander (more or less to taste)
  • ½ t ground ginger (more or less to taste)
  • ¼ t ground cloves (more or less to taste)
  • 1 T maple syrup (more or less to taste)
  • 1 T agave nectar (more or less to taste)
  • ¼ t vanilla extract (more or less to taste)

Instructions

  1. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. This may take a while with the frozen banana, but it will be worth it!
