Smoky Mountain Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 vicolo frozen cornmeal pizza crust
- olive oil
- potabella & shiitake mushrooms , sliced
- fresh asparagus , sliced
- red wine and balsamic vinegar
- pizza sauce of your choice
- red raw onion , sliced
- raw garlic , chopped
- Fakin' Bacon Tempeh Strips , sliced
- cheese of your choice (My favorites, though not all together): Soignon French Bucheron Chevre (This is a divine vegetariansuitable goat cheese, no animal rennet), or Vincent Aged Gouda, or Smoked Mozzarella
- fresh cracked pepper
- chipotle pepper spice
- drizzle of madhava agave nectar
Instructions
- Place pizza crust on baking stone and set aside.
- Sauté mushrooms and asparagus in olive oil. Add a splash of both red wine and balsamic vinegar and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
- Construct your pizza. Lather the crust with sauce, and the mushroom/asparagus mix, red onion, garlic, tempeh, and cheese. Dress it up with cracker pepper, chipotle pepper, and agave nectar.
- Bake at 425º for approx. 15 minutes. Devour. Follow with Dark Chocolate Bar.
